Summary: This vintage Aluminum neck Kramer DMZ 4001 has stood the test of time, it is in excellent shape and sounds amazing. It ships in the original hardshell case fully insured & well packed.
Body: Solid contoured maple body with 3 piece mahogany/maple center piece and a chrome backplate for access to the electronics.
Neck: Aluminum and maple neck with an Ebanol fingerboard, aluminum dot inlays, 20 frets, zero fret, 1.5” nut width, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Hardware: Nickel plated bridge with 3 steel saddles and 1 brass saddle, DiMarzio P-bass style pickup with one volume knob, one tone knob and a toggle switch. This instrument has Schaller tuning keys and black metal knobs.
Cosmetics: This vintage bass is in great shape for its age. There are a few dings & pick scratching on the top, some light buckle rash on the back and some finish worn off the aluminum on the back of the neck.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected & set up this bass with a fresh set of strings. The neck is straight and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
