Laub Engineering Unique Model 26 2x12 Combo
A Unique amp indeed. Two 6L6s power two 12" speakers pushing around 30 watts. A perfect amount of power. Essentially it is a Magnatone Model 260 with a true frequency shifting vibrato .Laub Engineering was one of a number of companies licensed by Magnatone in the late 60's to make clones of their amps. The boards, circuits, components, etc. were largely identical to Magnatones own. Main difference is better cabinet construction, as Magnatones are know to be less than road worthy. Breaks up nicely at high volumes and has a nice clean floor to take pedals very well. A great way to get the vintage Magnatone sound at a fraction of the price.
