Loar LM-600 Black F-style Mandolin with Original Case

Summary: This mandolin is in great used shape with a nice upgraded Allen tailpiece, fresh strings and setup by our in house guitar tech. It ships in its original soft case.

Body: F style mandolin with gloss black finish and w/b/w cream binding.

Neck: It has a nice chunky soft V neck with bound ebony fingerboard, bone nut, pearl dots, 1 3/16” nut width and 14” scale length.

Hardware: The original tailpiece is included but there is an Allen brass tailpiece installed, it has an ebony floating bridge, bone nut and ivoroid button tuners.

Cosmetics: This mandolin is in great used shape but there are some pick scratches in the top, some light buckle rash and some finish chips and cracks on the treble side fingerboard extension. There is also a small chip in the finish on the side of the neck and some scratches around the tuner shafts.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this mandolin with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
