Lowden 025C Acoustic Guitar
A nice Lowden 025C jumbo cutaway with a AAA Red Cedar soundboard and really choice, dark AAA rosewood back and sides. Looks like Leo Kottke’s guitar except that his is a Taylor, but same shape. There are scratches and dings from the last 18 years, but absolutely no cracks. The action is perfect at 3/32nds and 2/32nds at the 12th fret with lots of saddle – no neck-set is needed. Currently there are medium’s on the guitar. The combination of Red Cedar and Choice Indian Rosewood creates a mellow rich tone – check out the demos…
This instrument was built in the Lowden workshop in Ireland, around 2003 and has a great depth of tone with lush harmonics and a hint of darkness.
