First year of the reissue! 1989 Marshall JTM 45 MKII reissue head and 2×12 cab signed by Jim Marshall! Such a legendary amp, and one of the most sought after tones in existence. 1989 was the first year they reissued the head and cab. UK-made with high quality components, this thing sounds incredible! Marshall crunch, but surprisingly clean tones can be dialed as well. The reissues were not exact copies of the original circuit, so the previous made some upgrades to bring it back to vintage specs. New “correct “ filter capacitors, coupling capacitors, removal of extra bright channel capacitor, correct presence control wiring, various other resistors and capacitors, etc. The cheap Sovtek 5881 output tubes have also been replaced with correct KT66 output tubes (Valve Arts brand). Replaced preamp and phase inverter tubes with JJ brand tubes. Though we cannot officially verify Jim Marshall’s autograph (dated 1992) it appears to be authentic. Overall in very good condition less a few smudges in the tolex. Improved circuitry and original Celestion G12T75 speakers. Dude, it’s a Marshall!
