This 1997 Marshall Bluesbreaker Reissue is one of the best sounding amps in the shop right now, and that's saying a lot!
The amp goes from distinct, present clean tones to some of the best output tube overdrive on the market. There's nothing like it. Setting the amp for full crunch and using your guitar's volume to ride the gain gives you full control of clean to pushed sounds, and everything in between.
Unlike smaller amps that benefit from output section overdrive, the Bluesbreaker's speakers and cab can handle everything the amp can give it, so you never get to a point where things get mushy or loose. Testing this theory will simply blow your mind. Sure, the amp is big and heavy, but it just kills!
This issue from Marshall was limited to just 250 examples. This one is in excellent condition. It isn't mint, but it has been well cared for. See the pics for intimate condition detail.
There are no changes, repairs or issues with the amp whatsoever. We cleaned all the pots and jacks, tested the tubes, and we've been testing it regularly as we obviously enjoy its presence in the shop.
The amp will ship in two boxes - one for the chassis and one for the cabinet. Shipping will be expensive as the box will be large and it will take some time to get it packed adequately as well. Be prepared for some simple assembly when you receive the amp. It isn't tough at all, and we'll guide you through it.
