1924 Martin 0-18 Vintage Pre-War Flat Top Parlor Acoustic Guitar - Adirondack Spruce, Honduran Mahogany, Ebony Board/Bridge

1924 Martin 0-18 Needs Reset, Refinished!

Here is a nice project Prewar Martin 0-18. Made in 1924. Hard to believe these 100-year old guitars are still viable today, but it certainly is. It sounds great but the action is a bit high with not a lot of saddle so it will require a neck reset for optimal playing. The guitar has several repaired cracks including 3 small top cracks and a series of back cracks.

Overall, the guitar is in good condition. The original bar frets and pyramid bridge aren't in too bad shape. The tuners are 1950's or so. The guitar is definitely a project but it's a worthy piece to restore. The guitar comes with a letter from Martin in the early 1970's and an appraisal from Gruhn at $5000 in late 2022. The guitar comes with a nice recent Martin hardshell case.
