This model is probably most famous for its use by Eric Clapton.
It has been used by Eric Clapton since the early 1970s,
At first, a 1966 000-28 converted to a Style-45 was used.
After that, in the latter half of the 1970s, a 1974 000-28 was used as the main period. However, the one Clapton used had three separate bridge saddles and a custom snowflake inlay. The instrument was auctioned in 1999 and sold for $173,000, which was a surprise to the public.
The one we have now arrived is the same age as the one he used, and we believe there are many people who are looking for one.
The number of 000-28s produced in 1970 was only 150, while the number of D-28s was 3,515.
It is understandable that it is rare to find one of these days.
Moreover, 1970 was the first year that Indian rosewood was used. The engraved Grover tuners are also cool.
Despite this collectible aspect,
Clapton and many other musicians use this instrument.
The body size is easy to hold and the medium scale gives it a light response. The tone balance is not too heavy, yet it has a good graininess and long sustain that is typical of rosewood.
It is also useful in the recording studio.
It has some repair history, but it is also equipped with a retrofitted L.R. Baggs Lyric, making it a vintage guitar for practical use.

- The neck and wood have been thoroughly inspected by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars and no repairs are needed.
- The neck is in straight condition, and there are no chattering or clogging issues whatsoever.
- String height on the 12th fret: 2.7mm on the 6th string side, 2.2mm on the 1st string side.
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.5mm
- 4 crack repairs (upper left/upper right of sound hole, lower left/bottom right of pickguard)*All cracks are about 2 to 3 cm in diameter.

- There are 2 screw holes on the neck block for battery box installation.
