Martin / 2011 000-42 ECJM

This guitar was first made in 1992, when it was featured on "MTV Unplugged",
Martin has released many Eric Clapton signature models since his famous performance on "MTV Unplugged" in 1992.
Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the release,
The 000-28EC is still sold regularly,
The 000-28EC is still one of the most beloved series in Japan.
Clapton is scheduled to visit Japan in 2025, and this enthusiasm will continue to be passed on from generation to generation.

The "000-42 ECJM" introduced here is a guitar that can be said to have been born from such deep-rooted popularity in Japan and the love of many fans.
The name "ECJM" means "Eric Clapton Signature Model / Japan Edition / Madagascar Rosewood Sideback," and it is a special limited edition of 100 guitars made from carefully selected wood.

This 000-42 is the model Clapton used in "MTV Unplugged" (made in 1939), and was the first signature model released in 1995.

The neck is 44.5mm wide at the nut (soft V-shape), forward-shift X-bracing, Adirondack spruce, long saddle, tortoiseshell pickguard, and zigzag backstrip.
The old-style head logo is a simple decal logo, which is reminiscent of the Golden Era period of the 1930s, while the Style-42 has the so-called "vertical logo" with lavish use of Avalon.
The simplicity of the design is convincing and elegant, and it is sure to win the hearts of those who love Martin as well as Clapton.

Although the Brazilian rosewood used in the pre-war Martin has been changed to Madagascar rosewood, which has a climate similar to Brazil, the powerful appearance with austere black lines is just as vintage and captivating as the vintage atmosphere.

This is a superb gem that can say a lot about a single model.
