Description

Are you extremely particular and discerning regarding what your desires are in a vintage guitar? If so I bet that list includes:

1 3/4” nut ✅
Forward shifted bracing ✅
Pre 1939 (1936) ✅
All original parts ✅
Untouched nitro finish ✅
Adirondack spruce top ✅
Neck set by one of the top 1-3 luthiers in the world ✅
Incredible tone and volume ✅

This 1936 D-18 is the cleanest mid 30s dreadnought we have had. It is in incredible condition. Two dryness cracks were taken care of with an expert eye and expert hand by the same luthier who executed the flawless neck set. This subset of Martins have become some of the most desirable in the world. Many professional musicians have echoed this in print and otherwise- stating unequivocally that a 30s D-18 would be their one guitar given the parameter that they could choose just one. We have never had one returned in 12 years. Simply because people do not regret buying these. In my opinion these are the pinnacle of what Martin ever shipped out of that factory. Beautiful, angelic tone, and an investment that is second to none in the vintage guitar world. Secure this one before it is gone.

End of Summer Sale Price: $95,000.
