2008 Martin D-18 w/hsc

Summary: Easily one of the most influential acoustic guitars of all time, the D-18! This Martin is in great used condition, has that classic woody Martin tone with its solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It has just been setup by our in house guitar tech and restrung with a new set of 12s. It sounds great, plays beautifully up and down the rosewood fingerboard and ships in an SKB hardshell case.

Body: Classic dreadnought body with a spruce top & mahogany back & sides.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, pearl dots, bone nut, 1.65” nut width and 25 ½” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: Closed back Martin tuning keys, bone nut and saddle, rosewood-bridge, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots and single ply black pickguard.

Cosmetics: This beautiful Martin is in great shape & doesn’t seem to have been played a lot in its 12 years of life. There are some pick scratches on the pickguard and various small dings on the top of the guitar but they are hard to see unless you get close & hold it up in the lights. The back is also in great shape with a few small scratches and a few small dings. There are a couple small nicks in the back of the neck but are hardly noticeable.

Playability: We put a new set of 12’s on this wonderful Martin & it plays like a dream up & down the fingerboard with low action & rich full tone.
