Summary: This is an incredibly responsive and lively Dreadnaught that the Martin Custom shop has given us. Very similar to a D-18 but labeled as “The Podium” this guitar gives us all the volume and projection that we come to expect and love from a Dreadnaught but this particular model has a much thinner neck which feels really comfortable. It ships in a nice Martin TKL hardcase.
Body: This beautiful Martin is a Dreadnought style with solid Sitka spruce top, b/w/b/w/b binding and mahogany back and sides. One ply black binding on the back and it has a tortoise pickguard.
Neck: The solid mahogany neck has a great slim profile, rosewood fretboard w/ 20 frets, pearl dots, 1.76” nut width and 25 ½” scale length. The headstock does not have a Martin decal on the front of the rosewood overlay but it does have the Martin logo engraved into the back of the headstock.
Pickups/Hardware: It has a piezo pickup, rosewood bridge with bone saddle, bone nut and Waverly tuning machines with butterbean knobs.
Cosmetics: The top is in pretty great shape with just a bit of pick scratches above the sound hole and on the pickguard. There is a large patch of finish missing on the side where you rest your arm and some chips along the edges of the binding. There are also some minor nicks and dings around the headstock and heel.
Playability: This Martin is a great player and it sounds fantastic. The action is low and the frets are in great shape. The neck is straight and it’s been recently set up by our in house luthier with a new set or 12s.

Weight: 4 lbs, 2 oz.
Case: This Martin comes with the original hardshell case with red plush interior.
