This Martin D-18 is a hand crafted guitar utilizing only hand selected premium quality tonal woods.
This Custom Shop Guitar has (Pre-War) 1930s Style Forward "X" Scalloped Bracing and a Vintage 1 3/4" Neck in the true tradition of vintage Martin instruments made prior to World War II.
That pre-war era, Martin's celebrated and unique blend of well-chosen materials, optimized design, and handcrafted construction created what many collectors and guitar experts believe to be the finest acoustic stringed instruments ever made.
The Martin Custom Shop is the originator of the craftsmanship, materials and features of those pre-war instruments.
This D-18 guitar has recreated, as faithfully as possible, that legendary sound and quality.

Silky, naturally aged, Sitka Spruce top
A book matched spruce top is braced with the original pre-war scalloped X-brace pattern, shifted to a position 1" from the sound hole.

We ship UPS ground insured, unless otherwise specified by the buyer. On finer instruments, we insist on overnight shipment for safe handling. Buyer pays shipping unless otherwise agreed upon. International shipments are via FedEx.
Must have prior approval of return. Opened strings are not returnable. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your guitar, simply return it fully insured (with prior authorization) via shipping method we agree upon. When we receive the instrument in the same condition as when we shipped it, you will happily be issued a refund minus all shipping costs.
