This Martin D-18 from 2018 is sure to go quickly.
I'm not sure of the origin of the term "shade top", but that's the moniker applied to a Martin with a sunburst finish. They're somewhat rare from every era, going back to the 30s, with vintage examples fetching far higher than natural-top guitars.
This instrument is in excellent condition. There are a few modifications to note. We made a new bridge saddle as the original had chipped at the D string, causing annoying buzz on that string. The LR Baggs pickup required an output jack at the endpin, and the tuners were changed. The original tuners are included. Some screw holes were filled, which are hidden by the new machines.
Other than that, the guitar is in excellent shape with little fret wear, some superficial nicks at the end of the headstock, and light signs of play and use here and there. There are no cracks or repairs. The neck is perfect and the truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustments.
The original paperwork and Martin hardshell case are included.
