2001 Martin D-28...This D-28 was used as a gig and studio guitar by an upstate NY musician who had the fret board and pick guard inlaid with a mother-of-pearl grizzly bear motif by David Nichols of Custom Pearl Inlay in Malone, NY. The guitar shows typical handling and play wear (finish dings and crazing, dark spot on the headstock from a tuner clipped there) but it has no cracks or damage and is overall in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The neck angle is perfect and there's ample saddle height to allow for adjustability of the action into the future. There is some fret wear from 1-7 but nothing that would require immediate attention or inhibit playability/intonation. The guitar plays well with no buzz or other issues currently, the action measures 7/64 and 5/64" at the 12th fret with the truss rod adjusted so that the neck is virtually straight. There is a K & K pure pick up in the guitar (installed recently) so the guitar is stage ready. Be sure to check out the sound file!. Comes with original hard case. $2000 + shipping. I generally ship by UPS and will ship an item within 48 hours (usually the next day) of having received or cleared payment. Exact shipping costs will be added to the total for the buyer once the buyer has provided a shipping address. I insure everything for fulll purchase price.
Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
