1965 Gibson J-160E Sunburst

Maroon 5 James Valentine's 1965 Gibson J-160E Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, Serial #382132. This is a beautiful mid-1960s example of the iconic Gibson J-160E, the electro-acoustic model famously associated with The Beatles. Finished in classic sunburst, this guitar has moderate to normal checking, along with minor scuffs and dings to the finish. There is a scrape on the back that does not go through to the wood, and two small circles through the finish on the back at the bass-side upper bout. The original frets show minimal wear, and there is no evidence of any repairs. A well-preserved vintage Gibson with a direct connection to Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine.
