Description

Here's a 1975 Martin D-45 in Natural finish. The guitar comes to us from the family of the original owner, where it was tucked away for many years. Serial #368907. Top of the line Martin, using the highest quality tonewoods, the guitar features a solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back, Grover tuners, scalloped X-bracing, with Abalone inlay throughout the body, and Abalone Style 45 Hexagon inlays on the its Ebony fingerboard. The guitar has two professionally repaired top cracks, one that runs along the side of the pickguard, and another on the far right hand side by the treble side bout. Both repairs are great, and the rest of the guitar is crack free. The pickguard shrank a bit through years, but is still in good shape. The guitar plays and sounds beautiful! Wonderful clear tone separation, shimmery trebles, with lovely deep bass response. It appears to have never had a neck set before (blacklight's clean at the neck joint), and there's still a little room left in the saddle. These don't pop up often!! OHSC..
