1971 Martin D35

This is certainly one of the nicest D35s we have ever encountered. Legend has it that when Martin switched over from Brazilian to East Indian, that the first batch over the first year or so came from some old growth East Indian that to the discerning eye certainly seems considerably different than The ensuing years production. This particular guitar was made in the very beginning of 1971 and seems to conform To this. The guitar is just in spectacular condition. There is a little bit of wear around the pickguard, but in general, it is clean and shiny and perfect in every way. Just a lovely example of a beautiful 53 year-old Martin guitar. Sound and playability are spot on. Always available for a hands on description.
