A short lived model made by Martin in the later part of the 1970's, the EM-18 marks a rare foray into solidbody electric guitar building for the renowned acoustic brand. Built with a maple and rosewood laminate body, mahogany neck, and two hot humbucking pickups, this guitar is surprisingly well suited towards heavier tones than you'd expect from a Martin. This guitar is fully original but has had a small headstock crack repaired. Few of these were made and they do not come up for sale often; a great value on a rare vintage piece from the one of the oldest and most trusted American guitar manufacturing companies.
