1994 Gibson 1929 L-2 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, Serial #90064029. The 1994 Gibson 1929 L-2 reissue is a testament to Gibson's rich history, replicating the design and aesthetic of a pivotal era in acoustic guitar craftsmanship. As #82 of a limited run of 100 guitars, this instrument was built to mirror the specifications and materials of the original models, including Indian rosewood back and sides with a spruce top, contributing to its vibrant tone and projection. The guitar showcases a bright sunburst finish that, despite exhibiting several finish cracks, a small 2" top crack near the treble side of the fingerboard, and an open center seam at the butt end of the back, remains in good condition with no playwear. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by renowned Gibson craftsmen Ren Ferguson and Larry Eggle, highlighting its authenticity and limited-edition status.
