Martin 2001 HD-28V

This is one with vintage looks and specifications such as herringbone, forward shift scalloped X-bracing, V-neck shape, diamond and square inlays.

This particular instrument was made in 2001 and has a high-quality mahogany neck.
The tone is elegant and sweet on fingerplays, and powerful, dynamic, and full of presence on strokes, which is typical of prewar models.

Of course, it is not exactly the same as the D-28 of the Pre-War period in its current condition, but if you play it, you can be sure that it will grow closer to the old model than the current standard model.
This is a ready-to-play instrument that can be used for a wide range of stroke and fingerstyle playing.
