What could be finer? Martin’s OM (for Orchestra Model) guitars have been the choice of finger-style players everywhere since they were introduced as Martin's very first 14-fret models in 1929. This gorgeous, near-mint condition example has the very best of Martin’s straight-grained Indian rosewood back and sides, and a superfine-grained spruce top. OM specs will include a 1-3/4” nut width, standard 25.4” scale length, and about the comfiest semi-shallow V-haped neck I’ve ever played. It’s also everyone’s favorite body shape to hold, just so nice to sit with or play standing in front of a microphone. “42-Grade” in Martin’s book also includes the finest hand-inlaid abalone shell trim around the entire edge of the top, fingerboard end, and soundhole rosette, and those loveliest abalone shell “snowflake" fingerboard inlays. And also of course that terrific, iconic “CF Martin” block-letter abalone inlay on the peghead. Sigh. It’s a dream guitar, it’s in gorgeous barely-ever-touched condition, and it comes with one heck of a super-deluxe hard shell case. Only $3995 w/ohsc
