The Shenandoah series incorporates traditional Martin models with Japanese components.
Made in the Martin factory in Nazareth, this is not a copy model but a genuine Martin lineup.
This series has been licensed by music stores and sold as fully made in Japan since 1993.

The model introduced here is "D-1832" manufactured in 1992.
The 32 at the end of the model name indicates Shenandoah, indicating that it was manufactured based on the D-18.
The basic specs are almost the same as those of the regular line, and although it was introduced as a cosmetic model, we do not feel that there is any difference in quality nowadays.
The combination of spruce and mahogany, which is typical of Martin, produces a clear and light sound that is rarely found on guitars made in Japan.
The quality of this guitar is the best value for the money, and it is available at a lower price than the regular line.
