This particular custom-built Martin parlor guitar is one interesting and unique piece! It was custom-made by Martin Guitars and produced in co-ordination with the popular Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum (http://theunofficialmartinguitarforum.yuku.com). The white label inside the sound hole reads “Custom #100” with both Martin and the UMGF logos. It has a serial number of 1469834. The body is on the smaller side, similar in size and shape to a parlor-sized Martin (00-12 FRET), and has a beautiful Herringbone binding around it. It has a gorgeous clear tone with decent projection for a smaller bodied acoustic. The neck has a wider feel with a nice vintage Martin-style modified “V” to it that is extremely comfortable and measures about 1 13/16th” at the nut. It sports an ebony fret board with pearloid fret markers and an ebony bridge with pearloid dot string pegs. It meets the body at the 12th fret (hence the name!) and has 20 frets total. The split headstock has back-facing Waverly tuning machines and strings wind like a classical guitar. It has been set-up by our in-house tech with 80/20 acoustic 12s and plays like a dream! Cosmetically it is excellent condition with no visible wear and only a couple light scratches on the top of the body that are difficult to see without holding it up directly to a light source. This was a custom-designed guitar by the UMGF folks and produced by Martin so you won’t see one of these come around every day! Be sure to pick up this rare and fantastic model before its long gone! Includes original hard shell case
