Mellotron Model 400
The sound of so many classic records! Used by the likes of The Beatles, King Crimson, Radiohead, Tangerine Dream, Oasis, The Moody Blues, and many more! This one is from the 70s and features a 35-note single manual keyboard and it has three different sounds per frame. (Oboe,Violin, Flute) and like with any 40+ tape machine it take a little care, but it works! This has seen its share of use and probably has a lot of stories behind all the wear and tear. From the packing tape adhesive residue on the sides to the "Britain" sticker to the various nicks around its edges. Other things to note, the G2 and A2 keys do not make any sound, the knob for the tone control has gone missing but you can still turn the pot shaft and the volume control is a little scratchy.
