This has to be one of the coolest basses I've laid my hands on!

The body shape of a Mosrite is too cool, and this walnut back/spruce top bass is mostly hollow, so it is light and comfortable despite its large appearance.

The only change on the bass appears to be the nut, which is machined metal. It is not glued down to the fretboard, and I'm thinking I'll just leave it there and let the new owner decide what to do with it. Because there is a zero fret, this does not affect playability whatsoever.

The bass plays well and sounds awesome. There is a little room left in the truss rod for adjustment, and if it needs more down the road it is of the type that you can add a washer to to gain more adjustment.

There is checking throughout the finish, and it is really fine on the back of the neck. Finish has lifted here and there. It adds to the character of this rare bass. Frets are low, likely having been milled, but the bass is very playable as is. We noticed that there are a couple extra holes in the neck where it bolts to the body, concealed under the neck pickup and not compromising the instrument whatsoever.

The pickup selector switch has been changed out and the original is in the original case.
