Offered for sale:
Used c1964 Mosrite “The Ventures” Model serial number 0870.
This guitar is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine. The back of the neck appears to be refinished; the body has been refinished in red. The neck pickup mounting ring is missing a corner.
Mosrite guitars were known for innovative design, high-quality engineering, very thin, low-fretted and narrow necks, and extremely hot high output pickups. Moseley's design for The Ventures, known as the "Ventures Model" (later known as the "Mark I") was generally considered to be the flagship of the line.
Released as the result of a collaboration between Mosrite and surf-rock group The Ventures, the Mosrite Ventures electric guitar was a short-lived, funky child of the '60s. In addition to the high-gain P-90 style pickups and super slim neck, there is a unique Vibramute tremolo system, featuring their famous roller bridge, as well as Moseley tailpiece.
Although the Ventures was reborn in various forms throughout Mosrite's existence, the models from the 1960s are considered the most collectible.
There are modern interpretations available today, however this is the real deal!
Original hard-shell case included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
