1965 Mosrite The Ventures Model Ink Blue, Good, Hard

Of course this 1965 Mosrite “The Ventures” model guitar can conjure all the surf tones of the sixties, but it will do a lot more than that. These Mosrite pickups sound great whatever style of music you’re playing. And the slim neck and small frets make this a super playable guitar.

24 1/2 inch scale length and 1 9/16 inch nut width. Two proprietary high-gain pickups. Master volume and tone control knobs. Three way pickup selector switch. Mosrite tremolo system.

The body of the guitar has pronounced checking, but the Ink Blue finish is vibrant and beautiful. There are a few chips and dings including some finish blemishes on the back of the neck, but nothing egregious. The fretboard is nice and clean. The frets are in good condition as well.

This is one sweet looking, sweet playing piece of Mosrite history.
