1965 Mosrite Ventures sunburst
I love Mosrites, like I love most guitars, but as a kid I never saw one, no one in any of the towns in NC where I lives sold Mosrites. I always thought they were the coolest looking guitar, and have periodically bought one to play, and then find myself not using it, and it goes up for sale. Weird, I know. I bought this from a friend who has a shop in New York, really dug it because it had a refret and played so well. Yeah, it's not original, but the original frets are usually what turns me off on Mosrites. Replaced nut, other wise all there. I haven't checked body or neck dates but seems to fit into that 65 era, truss rod on the headstock, Mosely trem, and it does have an aftermarket case. Good, solid case, but non original.
