FUZZ FACE type, USA made handmade fuzz!
N.Y.C. SOUND PRODUCTS is known for the BASS MAD FUZZ, which imitates the BASS BRASSMASTER, and the fuzz face type MAD FUZZ, but this HOT-BOX FUZZ is also a fuzz face type model. The internal circuit board is completely molded, and the parts used are unknown. The sound is fat and mild overall, but it can be freely controlled with the guitar volume, from a full-gain, extreme fuzz sound to a clean sound. Serial #54, this is a valuable model from the early days of handmade boutique fuzz!
There is a chip on the tip of the plastic jack on the INPUT side.
The AC adapter cannot be used.
