Description

Only made for 2 years, the El Trovadores were National's move to make a higher grade wood bodied single resonator model. The bodies at first were made by Kay (for a cost of $7,) and later by Harmony, with only about 700 made all together. They were made of laminated mahogany with a key difference from other National models being the longer scale, giving an amazingly full, rich tone. This one has been restored and set up to ultimate quality by El Trovadore evangelist Mike Dowling with a neck reset, new fretboard (with original inlays), tailpiece and new taller saddle. It still has its original, nice undented cone and original biscuit. I've never played another original National with such a perfectly shaped neck and incredible sound.

Our "Cash price" policy: unfortunately, the credit card companies support "swiped" charges in which the card is physically run through the card reader. Phone-in charges are charged at a much higher rate (to the seller) which can take quite a big chunk out of a high-dollar sale. Thus, for those call-in sales, let's discuss the issue at the time; hopefully, we can figure some way to deal with it.
