Nothing but fun! That is how we would describe this 1956 National Reso-Phonic! These guitars often come out of the woodwork needing tons of repairs: neck resets, missing tuner buttons, missing pick guards, etc. This is by far the best one we’ve seen in a long time. It plays very well up and down the neck. Tuners work perfectly. The National logo on the headstock is pristine (these often fade a lot). And not only does it have its original pickguard, it has the National badge on the pickguard. Very often the resonator on these guitars aren’t much more than for show, only giving a hint of a metal timbre. This one actually resonates very well, creating a reverb like effect. This is the perfect lounging guitar.
