ESPの設立は1975年、当時発売のモデルはNavigatorのブランドで発売されていました。現在でもオーソドックスなコピーモデルはナビゲーターのブランドで発売されており、本家に劣らない質と造りが高い評価を得ているブランドです。
このモデルは手作業にて削り出されたホンジュラスマホガニーボディに、セットネック構造の薄めのホンジュラスマホガニーネックを採用したギブソン社を代表するセミアコースティックギターES-335を踏襲したモデル。
良質なマテリアルを使用し、コストと時間をかけた日本人ならではの精度の高い造りは、フラストレーションを感じさせないプレイアビリティと、ふくよかで響きの良いボディ鳴りを十二分に堪能できます。
本家ギブソンのES-335とは一味違った、本家よりマホガニーの甘く中音域に粘りのあるサウンドが体感できるセミアコースティックギターです。
