The coolest lap steel amp ever - the Oahu 385K in pink pearloid!
This amp works, and it works pretty darn well! The original field coil speaker and transformers are in place too.
The amp has seen some beneficial service, getting a grounded power cable and an electrolytic cap update. The handle is changed as well.
The amp is in stunning condition. Most that you see have damage to the art deco louvers and/or curling pearloid covering.
The amp doesn't sound amazing - you're probably not going to lay down tracks with his one - but it does sound better than I thought it would, and it just looks cool as anything.
