It was not enough that they were neck through construction for better
Sustain or that they had a rather unique “German Carve” top. This one has a cool Blue Burst color and appears to be all original. Switch tip? Dunno. Has jumbo frets on a lacquer Maple fretboard with a little wear.

Now, Prince? Well Jerol O’Hagan Guitars went under. It seems quality USA construction was not enough. Knut Koupee Music store bought out the factory for the tools and unfinished bodies and guitars. Willie, our owner, worked at Knut for a year before opening Willie’s in 1988. Young Prince Rogers Nelson, aka Prince asked Knut to build his Cloud guitar. The techs at Knut used O’Hagans as the base. Now these original O’Hagan bodied cloud guitars fetch up to half a million dollars. That fact has made these a fun find. And leftys? Living here we doubt more than 6 were made…if that.
