2002 Ovation Adamas W597-MEWP Melissa Etheridge Signature Model White Pearl

Excellent condition featuring double cutaway body shape, carbon fiber top with gloss White Pearl finish and decorative pearloid soundhole plates, multiple abalone top bindings, black lyrachord full depth bowl back, factory installed electronics with side mounted controls and battery compartment, ebony bridge, mahogany neck with center stripes, ebony fingerboard with carved decorative fingerboard extension, bone nut, Ovation style peghead with Adamas logo inlay and decorative inlay, three on a side black metal tuning machines with pearloid buttons, two metal strap buttons, and original black hard shell case.

This incredibly well made 2002 Ovation Adamas W597-MEWP Melissa Etheridge Signature 6 String model is in excellent to near mint cosmetic condition. This guitar shows virtually no signs of play wear and is extremely tidy. This instrument has a great feeling medium, rounded neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width that is very easy and fun to play. The frets on this guitar show only extremely minor wear and have loads of life. There are no indentations in the frets. This Adamas has the factory saddle height and was set up here at our shop. This instrument plays superb up and down the ebony fingerboard with low smooth action and excellent intonation. A truly great player! This guitar has a wonderful acoustic tone and also sounds fantastic plugged in. This model is very balanced and sweet sounding - one of the best sounding Ovation guitars that I have come across in a long while. The White Pearl top finish is vibrant and attractive especially paired with the abalone top trim, pearl tuner buttons and ebony fingerboard. The interior label has all the model info and is hand signed by Melissa Etheridge. This instrument includes its original Ovation hard shell case for safe travels. This model doesn’t pop up for sale too often and this one is an exceptional example. Built right here in the USA in 2002, this extremely well crafted guitar is looking for a new home.
