For your consideration a 1991 Ovation Collectors Series 25th anniversary in black! Originally a helicopter engineer Charles Kaman turned his sights to guitars building in the late 60s. These super cool fiberglass composite bodies guitars were inspired by his works in aerodynamics! With a players like Glenn Campbell, John Lennon, Melissa Etheridge, Richie Sambora, Larry Coryell, etc you know they’re doing something right! This model is a 25th anniversary so you know they were cookin by this point!
Specs! This guitar is all original and in very good condition. Chrome Schaller Tuners. Nut width measures 1-11/16″. 3 piece mahogany and maple neck with a depth measuring .85″ at the first fret and 1.05″ at the twelfth fret (V shape). Ebony finger board with a 10″ radius. The original 20 large frets are in excellent condition. Solid spruce top with “Lyrachord” (fiberglass composite) back and sides. Original OP-24 pick up and preamp. Walnut bridge. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 6 pounds.
