~1972 Ovation Magnum IV Light Mahogany
Description
Wonderful playing bass, with a lot of punch. Very little fret wear, straight neck, original hard brown plastic case with some chips here and there the B39XX serial number makes me think 1977 or 78, somewhere in there. The electronics sound great, everything works as it should. I remember seeing these way back when, and was told the neck pickup has a coil for each string, 4 coils under the cover. We don't see Magnums much anymore, especially the active electronics models, and this is as nice an example as we have seen in years. Thanks for looking!
