This 2015 Paul Reed Smith CE 24 is in excellent cosmetic condition showing almost no signs of play wear throughout. The neck profile is chunky and has a nice rounded C shape that feels very comfortable in hand. The frets show no signs of play wear and have a lifetime of use left in them. This guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups are very balanced and really suit this instrument. The bridge pickup has a certain snappy/tight quality that really cuts and is perfectly suitable for all styles of music and excels with an overdriven amp. The neck pickup has a very nice, not overly bass heavy, thick, round tone that is articulate and clear. The coil tap located in the tone position is also extremely useful and does a great job of giving you those single coil sounds. An extremely versatile guitar. The PRS tremolo operates smoothly and really is excellent to use. Plus, because of the design of the bridge system in combination with the PRS low mass locking tuners, this guitar stays in tune exceptionally well. The curly maple top on this guitar is quite exceptional and has a wide range of motion in different light sources. The Vintage Yellow finish is very attractive especially paired with the dark rosewood fingerboard. This is a great instrument for anyone looking for a quality American made guitar that plays and sounds fantastic and truly is built to be a workhorse.
