2010 Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II Piezo "10" Top & Back McCarty Tobacco SB
Offered here is one of the most flexible and beautiful guitar designs available anywhere, a PRS Hollowbody II with Piezo and "10" grade flame maple for both the top and back. This instrument was built in 2010, the 25th Anniversary of the creation of Paul Reed Smith Guitars.
The Hollowbody II is a fully hollow 22 fret, 25" scale guitar with, in this case, "10" grade flame maple used for both the top and back. Mahogany is used for the neck and sides of the instrument. The neck carve is PRS' Wide/Fat (now called the 'Pattern' shape) with depth measurements of .865" at the first fret tapering up to .940" at the twelfth fret. The lovely rosewood neck on this one comes with very nice ivoroid neck binding, shadow bird inlays and jumbo frets. The humbuckers are PRS' highly regarded 57/08's with piezo elements built into the adjustable stoptail bridge. Controls include a three-way switch for the humbuckers, volume, tone, blend and a three way switch for the piezo. The finish on this guitar is 'McCarty Tobacco Sunburst.'
With the electronics on this guitar, you can do most any kind of music and I've seen this model used for everything from jazz to rock to solo singer/songwriter duty. It is incredibly light and comfortable to play, weighing just 5 pounds, 4 ounces! As with every PRS guitar, this is incredibly well built, extremely easy to play and it sounds superb. This guitar is in 'excellent minus' condition with a few hard to find cosmetic flaws that I have pictured. There are tiny rough spots in the binding in a couple of places, light buckle wear on the back, a few dings on the headstock and most of the gold plating on the pickup covers has oxidized to chrome. None of these flaws can be seen except really close up and do nothing to impact the beauty, playability or tone of this high end electric. The frets still look like new as shown in the photos. The guitar comes in a newer PRS case that is in near mint condition along with the paperwork and tools shown.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery.
