Summary: This is a wonderful playing & great looking 1998 Peavey Wolfgang electric guitar in a simple black finish. Peavey included the following endorsement in their advertising: "For as long as I've been playing guitar, I've always been searching for a certain feel and tone...I've experimented by tearing apart and reassembling hundreds of guitars in different ways searching for these qualities. Although I've ruined a lot of great guitars by having done this, I have learned what it takes to make a truly great guitar. The Wolfgang, after years of trial and error, (for me) is that guitar. Our collective efforts in designing the Wolfgang guitar have resulted in a versatile, quality-crafted guitar that feels great, sounds great and is truly inspiring to play. I've already put mine to the test in the studio and on tour and now it's your turn”

Body: Solid basswood body with a fully bound carved top and unique offset body and double cutaway design.

Neck: Birdseye maple neck & fingerboard with an oil finish, dual graphite reinforcements and adjustable truss rods, 25 1/2" scale length, 22 jumbo frets, 15" fingerboard radius and 1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Master volume knob, master tone knob, switchcraft 3-way switch & input jack, Peavey/Floyd Rose licensed vibrato unit, double-locking tremolo assembly, D-Tuna device (allows instant drop of low E string to D), chrome plated hardware, Two custom-wound Peavey humbucking pickups, 3+3 tuning machine configuration, Precision die-cast Schaller tuning machines (based on the Schaller M6L), Locking nut and string retainer bar.

Cosmetics: This Wolfgang is in pretty good shape – there are normal signs of wear such as pick scratching on the top, some buckle rash on the back- mainly on the plastic back cover. The frets are in great shape and have a lot of life left in them.

Playability: We set this Peavey up with a new set of 10’s and it plays and sounds fabulous….The action is low, the fingerboard feels smooth and the truss rod was fully tested.

Weight: 7 lbs, 14 oz.

Case: This Peavey comes with the original hardshell case.
