2023 PRS Santana Retro Santana Yellow
This PRS Santana Retro honors the 40+ year collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and Carlos Santana, blending classic pre-factory PRS design with modern tonal upgrades. It's in prestine condition with it's original case, recently set up by our in-store luthier with a straight neck and no fretware. Like Paul’s original ’80s guitars for Carlos, it features a maple-on-mahogany body, old-school neck heel, and deeper body carve for comfort. The mahogany neck sports a sturdy Santana Retro profile with Paul's original headstock shape and nut placement. Modern enhancements, including Phase III locking tuners and a Gen III tremolo, provide reliability and smooth performance for a true rock legend.
This model also features TCI Santana pickups in the bridge and neck, highlighting years of mastery in pickup voicing; they provide a wide tonal range, from punchy cleans to sharp overdrive and blazing humbucker power.
