Used - PRS 2009 SE Singlecut Korina

While US-made PRS guitars often get much more notice, the more affordable Korean-crafted SE range has a strong following due to their high standards and quality. And now Replay Guitar Exchange has an excellent deal on a 2009 pre-owned PRS SE with a single cutaway, closely resembling the USA model, but thinner and less fully carved, and built from solid korina, an African limbo wood, rather than the Far Eastern mahogany used for the more expensive USA range. There's an almost Fender-y texture to the tone, with a little more breath in the mids. And the vintage amber color recalls the classic, almost hallowed korina Gibsons. The frets have about 10% wear so there’s plenty of life left, and except for one headstock tip ding, there are no dings or scratches on the body worth even mentioning.
