This PRS Swamp Ash Special from 2008 seems a little more comfortable than many, and less fussily styled than most. The sunburst finish over that swamp ash grain is something to see, and the feel of chords and leads played up and down this neck — resounding through this body, even unplugged — is something to experience. McCarty neck and bridge pickups, a Seymour Duncan Vintage Rail in the center, and a push-pull tone control work in concert to give you toneful versatility.
This PRS is in Very Good condition, with minor scratches and dings, and an estimated 95% remaining fret life. The neck has a subtle vintage tint of the kind that excites the visually-minded — while its fat, wide soft V shape is for those who care about feel. If the Paul Reed Smith tendency toward elegant capability appeals to you, you'd be in for a world of enjoyment with this guitar.
