Here we have another unique parlor-sized slide guitar. This one is a 1930s Regal parlor with a great looking blue green sunburst finish and Asian themed scenes on the front and the back. It didn’t start it’s life as a slide guitar but after 80+ years the neck angle has changed enough that it would require a neck reset to make it playable as a standard guitar. It sure sounds fantastic played as a slide guitar, so we’re selling it as such.
Nice wide 1 3/4 inch nut. Hardwood neck with a 24 1/4 inch scale length. 18 frets on a dyed-wood fingerboard. Original Rosewood pyramid bridge with a replaced bone saddle. The guitar has a nitro finish which has allowed the original blue burst to age to a beautiful blue green tone.
Set up in open D, this guitar has a lovely sound. No case. A unique vintage guitar that will give you years of pleasure.
