2011 Retro King Eighteen Watt Combo Brown Tolex

I had never noticed Retro King before this 18 Watt combo came our way, and now I'm wondering why I don't see more of them. This amp kills!
The 18 watt Marshall circuit is one of the best of all time, providing the richest output tube saturation at lower volumes than other amps.
Retro King added a master volume to this version, allowing you to push the amp harder at even lower volumes than a standard 18 watt amp. It really shines when you set the master at 5 or above while running the channel volume up. I love the response and the way the amp reacts as you use your guitar's volume control to go from sweet clean to overdrive. This works great with any guitar, but when you hit the amp with P-90s it is just the best thing ever.
The amp is very cleanly wired using quality components throughout. The quality extends outside the chassis, the cab, tolex and the overall fit and finish.
Another thoughtful feature is the mixed pair of speakers - an Eminence Red Coat and a Celestion Blue Alnico. In the studio or on the stage, a mic per speaker is the way to go, allowing you to mix the two voices. In our amp room, they blend together and beautifully complement each other.
Perhaps due to the lack of name recognition, this amp is an incredible value. You won't believe what you get for the money until you hear this beast!
