This fantastic Rickenbacker 330 sports a Midnight Blue finish on its semi-hollow carved maple body. It has a slim profile set neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard featuring dot inlay and Rickenbacker’s patented “dual truss rod” neck adjustment system. It is 24.75” scale and measures 1.63” at the nut. Of course one of the major draws of the 330 (and Rickenbackers in general) is the distinctive “jangly” tone they possess. The jangle is facilitated by dual Rickenbacker “Hi-gain” single coil pickups (neck and bridge position respectively) and the guitar sounds incredible! They are controlled not only by individual volume and tone potentiometers but also a blend knob for expanded tone control, allowing for equalization of the bass pickup in order to compensate for the often lower volume level of the bridge pickup. The 330 model differs from the similar 360 model in that it lacks the “Rick-O-Sound” stereo output of the later. It has been set-up by our in-house guitar tech for optimal intonation and playability as well as tested for any electronic issues. The action is nice and low and the frets have minimal-to-zero wear with lots of years ahead for them! The gorgeous Midnight Blue finish is still in excellent shape with no noticeable blemishes other than a very tiny ding on the lower treble-string side of the body. Overall the 330 is an excellent guitar that combines classic looks with a unique and comfortable feel. After all, any guitar good enough for Pete Townsend, Paul Weller, and Guy Picciotto is certainly nothing to sneeze at! Includes original hard shell case.
