Rickenbackers six strings have always been one of the best-kept secrets of the vintage guitar world in direct contrast to their renown 12 strings which have become legendary. This perfect Rikenbacker 335-6 not only looks gorgeous but also is truly a great guitar in that it sounds and plays as good as it looks. The smaller neck feels very comfortable it plays very easily with low action; strings are surprisingly easy to bend even with the 11-48 gauge strings recently installed. Fantastic near mint glossy example in beautiful Fireglow with original Accent Vibrola has no modifications or repairs. Original D’Armond toaster top pickups are loud efficient and off course always sound wonderful. All hardware is original super clean and functional, the electronics are factory original not a solder joint touched. Cosmetically near perfect no playing wear evident whatsoever, perfectly straight neck with two working truss rods. A no issue all original piece some would describe as mint if not for a very small area of light pressure marks on the back, small area and not deep, hard to see, almost impossible to photograph. This is as good an example of this guitar that money can buy. We highly recommended buying instruments in this realm of quality, as the investment yield is always greater when buying rare models in perfect condition. There is no better place to put your money than in this fine piece. Consider this near mint July of 1966 Rickenbacker 335-6 semi hollow body six string electric in Fireglow serial number FG 2354 with original silver with blue interior hard shell case.
We accept Visa, Bank wire transfer, cashiers check, bank check, personal check or cash. No credit cards, if you need to use a credit card or even finance an item this can be done through Reverb.com.
We ship USPS Priority and Fed Ex Ground next business day, all instruments are carefully packed utilizing new shipping materials, all instruments are insured by Heritage Insurance. All parcels are flat rate shipped and are the same price for all buyers in the domestic USA, international shipping is also flat rate for anywhere in the world. The price is based on the cost of new shipping materials, boxes, bubble wrap, tape and labor and has nothing to do with where you are or your ability to pick it up in person. It is not in our business model to offer in person demonstrations of instruments or in person pickup, both of these things take an employee and extra time. If you have a limit as to what you want to spend on shipping please factor this into you instrument offer as we accept reasonable offers on most items. If an item doesn’t allow a lower offer it’s because it’s already been discounted and already at its lowest price. We recommend that you don’t chose an instrument based on shipping cost alone as there are more important issues all of which we have well covered. I might point out that all of our guitars come with professional detailing and set up, this has real value and keeps one from getting inferior work from an unqualified retail establishment. Thanks for your understanding. John Russell Nelson owner VGA Vintage Gear America
