Description

1981 Rickenbacker Model 4001 with a totally yellowed-out tuxedo finish that has all of us drooling! The aesthetic of this bass is uncanny with checking throughout, dings, and heavier wear from use. Plays great with a chunkier neck that acts like a cannon with notes seemingly flying off the board with a stunning vocal quality, tons of sustain, and of course, that signature Ricky growl. An often overlooked feature of these basses is the option to run the on-board stereo output for a myriad of routing possibilities, or for simply running two amps on stage.. you know, like the "old days." You can't go wrong with this classic, and, dare we say iconic bass! Includes original hardshell case.
