This Rob Allen Mb-2 (serial number 963) is a handmade, full-scale semi-hollowbody bass with a vibration-sensing piezo pickup for unadulterated bass tone and utmost sensitivity. It's designed to use with La Bella 760n nylon tapewound strings, which combine with the specially chosen, lightly finished tonewoods for maximum note articulation. We couldn't help noticing the exquisite feel of the rolled fingerboard edges, and overall incredibly well put together feel of the instrument in general.
This Rob Allen is in Very Good condition, with no issues to speak of, and no frets to ever worry about wearing down. Based on the unanimously positive reactions of the various bass players around here, your only real concern will be finding the willpower to put this bass down. In fact, this writer had supreme difficulty getting any work done because this bass demanded so many 'quick' playing sessions.
